NEW FEATURES
The Schwab Alliance login will combine all advisor-managed, retail as well as retirement plans accounts linked to your Social Security number their platform. Please note that, as your advisor, we’ll not have access to the accounts that we manage for you.
* DocuSign and E-Authorization have been integrated into Schwab’s platform, which allows customers to sign off on the transactions and sign documents using your Schwab Alliance log-in. You can check the notifications in your messages center. Also, notification emails will be sent to the email address on file titled “Your independent investment advisor <[email protected]>, when such documents are needed.
You are able to edit your email address, address, telephone number and trusted contacts. You can also share access to your account that is view-only as well as beneficiaries under your Profile> Contact Information. This is done through Schwab Alliance.
TD AMERITRADE TO SCHWAB: “SHOULD KNOW” INFORMATION
For paperless statements and confirmations, it is necessary to create the Schwab Alliance credentials within 90 days from the date of change. In the event that you don’t, you’ll return to receiving statements through USPS postage.
* Any instructions for money movement previously made directly through TD Ameritrade have been transferred over in a seamless manner. If, however, you established direct installments or regular payments from other third party sources for example, Social Security or payroll depositfor example — into you TD Ameritrade account, you must update the routing information and account number to reflect the new Schwab details. Any money your old TD Ameritrade account receives will automatically transfer onto Charles Schwab for the first 90 days.
* You will receive a statement for each of TD Ameritrade and Schwab for the third quarter of 2023. It could perhaps the fourth quarter also, if there are any other transactions.
For tax purposes, each TD Ameritrade and Charles Schwab will be accessible at Schwab Alliance or delivered to your address of account, based on the option you choose for 2023.
